Transition Assistance Management Program
The Transition Assistance Management Program (TAMP) provides career/employment assistance, vocational guidance, and transition information to separating Marines and their family members. The tools and information provided enable all separating Marines and their family members to make a successful transition from military to civilian life. |
TAMP eligibility
Transition services are available to all Marines and their family members who are within 12 months of separation or 24 months of retirement.Pre-separation counseling and the Transition Assistance Program (TAP) workshop are mandatory for all separating Marines. |

Welcome to Marine and Family Services
Marine and Family Services is one of 19 centers established throughout the Marine Corps to assist active duty and retired military families. The division aids military members and their families in establishing, maintaining or re-establishing a high quality of family life,while coping with the unique circumstances surrounding military service.
Marine and Family Services provides a place that gives personal help and support to the entire Marine Corps Community. The Marine and Family Services Division at MCAS Yuma hosts 16 programs related especially to individual and family day-to-day quality of life issues. All of these high caliber services are designed to fit your profile and enhance your life, all at no cost to the Marine or Sailor. Take advantage of the many education workshops and classes offered on a continuous basis. You don't have to be "in trouble" to benefit from our services and programs. |
