Community Assistance ALTCS, The Arizona Long Term Care System (ALTCS) is a federally-funded Medicaid research and demonstration program. Individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental illness, who are eligible for services through the State of Arizona , may also be eligible for services through ALTCS.

In most states children who qualify for SSI will also qualify for Medicaid. States can choose to cover other groups of children under the age of 19 or who live in higher income families.
Supplemental Security Income (SSI), www.ssa.gov -is a Federal supplement program that can provide a monthly payment to those with low incomes and few resources who are 65 or older, blind, or disabled. Children may qualify.
Arizona Early Intervention Program (AZEIP), www.azdes.gov/azeip is a statewide system of supports and services for families of children, birth to three, with disabilities or developmental delays.
Food Stamps and FSSA, www.fns.usda.gov Program that enables low-income families to buy Nutritious food with Electronic Benefits transfer (EBT) Cards.
