Child, Youth and Teen Programs
The Child, Youth and Teen programs aboard MCAS Yuma offers a wide variety to children and youth. All programs serving food participate in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) through the state of Arizona. The programs offered include the Child Development Center (Bldg 1085 - Jennifer Dibble, CDC Director - 269.2350. Children 6 wks to 5 yrs), Youth Center (Bldg 1050 - Pat Carson, Youth Center Director - 269.5390. Before and after school childcare programs, children 5 to 12yrs). Open Recreation opportunities for youth 5 - 18yrs enrolled in school. Preteen & teen activities include programming from the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Other programs include Family Child Care Home Based Child Care (Bldg 1085 - Susie Doten, Family Child Care Director - 269.3233), and Resource Referral/Supplemental Programs & Services (Bldg 1085a - Yolanda Sanders, RRSPS Director - 269.3234) dealing with registration and information about community child care options and after hour contracting for organizational events.
