What Is the L.I.N.K.S. program?
L.I.N.K.S. offers an orientation to the Marine Corps lifestyle for all spouses. This orientation includes spouse-to-spouse mentorship and small group discussions.
L.I.N.K.S. provides a positive environment for spouses to learn to manage the demands of the Marine Corps life and to work together as a team in balancing family needs as well as meeting Marine Corps expectations Free on-site childcare is provided during L.I.N.K.S. sessions.
Who can participate?
All Marine (active, reserve and retired) spouses (male and female) other service member spouses serving with Marines, and spouses of Marine Corps civilian employees are eligible to participate in L.I.N.K.S. While L.I.N.K.S. is open to "every spouse in every house", the curriculum focuses on spouses new to the Marine corps Community. |
