POSITION: LOSS PREVENTION ASSOCIATE, NF-0085-01
Flexible (0-40 hrs/wk) Salary: $6.90-$7.50 per hour
LOCATION: MCCS, General Support Division, Operations Branch Loss Prevention
AREA OF CONSIDERATION: Current NAFI employees aboard MCAS, Yuma and all qualified outside applicants.
DUTIES: Performs assignments on a patrol basis or at a fixed post (vehicle or foot) with responsibility for enforcing security measures Patrolling areas may include exchange facilities, retail store, warehouse and or other buildings under MCCS jurisdiction. Makes periodic reports concerning the security and advised supervisor and/or other designated individual of any unusual occurrences. Controls personnel access by checking identification to unsure only authorized persons are permitted on the premises. May inspect the contents of packages, lunch boxes and other containers being removed from the buildings to assure only authorized items are being removed. As assigned, checks and test alarms to ensure they are working properly.
QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENTS: Must have knowledge of specialized requirements, methods and procedures use in. safeguarding facilities Must have the ability to deal with incidents in a tactful, discreet manner. Extreme integrity and confidentiality required. Six months of experience is preferred.
